UNI Suzuki School 10:00 - 11:00 Saturday, June 22
The mission of the UNI Suzuki School is to enrich the lives of children and adults through the study of music.
The UNI Suzuki Talent Education Program (UNI STEP) was founded in January of 1976, as a pilot program in string education in the School of Music at the University of Northern Iowa developed by Martha Holvik.
UNI Suzuki School has grown to include over 160 children and adults studying violin, viola, cello, and guitar. Weekly individual and group lessons, recitals, concerts and outreach are offered. The UNI Suzuki School also sponsors the Northern Iowa Junior Orchestra, the Northern Iowa Youth Orchestra, Cedar Falls Community Orchestra, Verisimo Chamber Music and hosts weekly sessions for Cedar Valley Irish Music.
